Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We recommend Makini for families seeking a remarkable safari adventure with top-notch service and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Yala Lake View Cabanas is situated near the Yodha Lake. Located in Tissamaharama, it's takes a 15 minute drive to Yala National Park and 20 minutes drive to Kataragama and Kirinda Beach. Typical artisanal village the tent is big and luxurious.

Amazing property, the Tent is a very cozy room and the staff was amazing. Uditha received super well and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and 2 days, and had a very early safari in both days. Uditha provided a breakfast for us to bring along and eat in our safari, and gave many tips about the region. We had pré-booked our safaris and lunch already, but if you need they can arrange for safaris and/or lunch as well. On the morning of our checkout we also did a nice bush walk around the property to say our goodbyes to Yala. The rooms have air conditioning, fan, hairdryer and good wifi. Definitely will recommend to friends that come to visit the Yala National Park!

Situated 17 km from Situlpawwa, Leopard Nest - Glamping in Yala offers accommodation and free WiFi in Yala. The property offers a complimentary game drive to Yala National Park. The location is one of a kind. After we switched into a 4x4 we traveled down a bumpy track to the beautiful location amongst the trees and in the middle of the forest. Staff were very helpful getting our bags up to the tree house. The location isn’t for everyone as it’s fairly remote but very close to yala national park. Food at the hotel was great. On the evening we had a BBQ that was outside in a candle lit location. Food was good and service great. The accommodation is amazing but obviously this is glamping and so we had a lizard or two surprise us but was definitely part of the fun. The safari organised by the team was great. Charging around the park in a jeep looking at all the animals was fantastic. Great stay

When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.
