The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had a lovely dinner under the stars. A delicious huge breakfast was brought over to our room in the morning. It was an experience using the jacuzzi in the wild too. We were given a complimentary early morning walk in the vicinity of the hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw. The whole concept is eco-friendly. The ideal location to start from or end the day for a Yala safari tour. Certainly worth staying at.

A recently renovated luxury tent set in Tissamaharama, Yala Wild Hut - Yala features a garden. The super friendly staff arranged for us to go a full day safari, with breakfast and lunch in the park and they kept on looking for leopards for us. The welcome tea at the rock top with sunset was breath taking. We really enjoyed our stay in the tent.

Yala Lake View Cabanas is situated near the Yodha Lake. Located in Tissamaharama, it's takes a 15 minute drive to Yala National Park and 20 minutes drive to Kataragama and Kirinda Beach. 14 km from Tissa Wewa, Wild Trails Yala by Suri is a recently renovated property situated in Yala and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very nice service, amazing tent, beautiful breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't book somewhere else safari tour, we had one day with highly recommended company and next day with them, it is good that we took this decision, it was many times more enjoyable, nice car, professional driver and ranger!!! Also we really enjoyed the stay with dog, he was taking care of us, sleeping outside, and didn't let any animals next to the tent. Nice protective dog, just keep in mind that this is not a pet. They are still semi wild, so needs to give them space and to know how to behave. Highly recommended place

We were warmly welcomed from the very start by the incredible team. They did everything they could to give us a memorable stay, from the delicious food (best we had in Sri Lanka and very generous portions), the impeccable service, informative safari and excellent facilities and special touches (star gazing from the impressive viewing platform). Communication was excellent and we really felt so well looked after and had such a special time at Makini Bush Camp. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back and would recommend to anymore!

Located 15-minute drive away from Yala National Park, Yala Dream Park features a garden and barbecue. Tissa Wewa is 8 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Amazing stay in the tree hut in the middle of nowhere. It is very basic but comfortable. Dont go here if you want a 5 star hotel. If you want to experience nature in a comfortable tree hut, this is for you. Great BBQ dinner was provided. Caters for vegetarian also. Did a wildlife experience from here with the owner. He goes out of his way on this tour. Avoids the hundreds of other vehicles to give you an awesome experience. A must do.
