Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. The Kilima camp is very close to the main entrance of Amboseli, and is inside a compound that also features a small conference center. The dining hall is large and rather beautiful, with a comfortable bar located on the opposite site. There is a tower inside the dining area which, via several intermediate floors, leads up to a roof deck which offers a spectacular view over Amboseli and surrounding landscape. We really liked our spacious, almost luxurious tent, which featured a wooden sliding door and a large ensuite bathroom. In fact, it felt more like a house than a tent. The food was excellent throughout.

Food was basic but good. Loved the bonfire at night, comfy beds, felt very safe and well cared for. We were a group of 11 people, ranging in age from 13 to 60 and we all enjoyed a night of "true safari style" lodging. We'd totally book again.

Great location, just next to one of the gates in Amboseli park. A lot of wild life even in the camp. Cabin was really comfy. There was warm water. Great view at Kilimanjaro. Friendly and helpful staff.
