The owners have thought about every little detail, even to a box of blankets to sit outside in all weathers like we did just listening to the rain. The kids and the dog loved exploring through the pine trees. We loved everything about this stay… great, friendly owners too.

Offering mountain views, Usk Valley Shepherd's Hut is an accommodation set in Cwm-brân, 33 km from Cardiff University and 36 km from Cardiff Castle. Amazing view and location. They had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, excellent facilities for cooking on the fire. We were very lucky with the weather but I'm sure it would have even been lovely in the rain! We loved the homemade jams and apple juice and there were many helpful items avaliable in the hut including an OS map of the nearby area. Wonderful hosts including Bundle!
