Luxury, comfortable, cosy, dog friendly and reasonably priced… ticks every box. Stayed two nights for my boys 2nd birthday and it was exactly what we wanted. The owners have thought about every little detail, even to a box of blankets to sit outside in all weathers like we did just listening to the rain. The kids and the dog loved exploring through the pine trees. We loved everything about this stay… great, friendly owners too.

Christine told us where to get the keys from which very easy. What a beautiful converted barn the views are just beautiful peaceful. All you see is the wildlife hear the birds singing. You are in the middle of no where but just 10 mins from Monmouth town. Kitchen is full equipped although could do with some new frying pans and sharp knives. We really didn't want to leave
We were at a wedding all day, so only used the room to crash out at end of night. Lovely big comfy bed. Hot shower in the morning. Job done. Neat and tidy room, all clean. Tea coffee making facilities and a TV, which we didn’t make use of due to the limited time we spent there. We didn’t take the option of breakfast. Welcoming host and would have loved to have had a pint in the pub on another occasion Great room for an overnight stay, but would have found the room a bit small for relaxing in other than to sleep.
Great location, not far from Brecon Becons. Lovely cooked breakfast, lots of choice, cereal, fruit, toast, good coffee. Hot shower. It's a good place for one night stay.
We loved our stay at High View Barn. Completely rural, the views are amazing with lots of walks nearby. We loved the wildlife; sheep in the adjacent fields, rabbits, deer & pheasant in the garden! The barn itself is clean & has everything you need.
Location is perfect for me - close to family and beautiful countryside, not far off m4. The setting is really beautiful including the gardens of the hotel- streams, wildlife- lovely ! Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom had great shower. Very peaceful. Swimming pool is a great bonus - nice and warm! Overall great value
