We spent a couple of nights staying in the Kite’s Rest… Absolutely great place to stay with great hosts who were extremely helpful and great to chat away to :-) The setting is perfect; quiet, great views and loads of space. We had glorious weather so made use of the BBQ and sat out on the decking area morning and night! We thoroughly enjoyed our time - Thanks!

The luxury tent includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, as well as a kettle. Towels and bed linen are available in the luxury tent. The property has an outdoor dining area. We had a lovely stop over stay at the little hut/wagon on the way up to the Highlands. It was very clean, well equipped, cosy and comfortable. It has a quaint and rustic feel that was very welcoming. There's a kettle, microwave and toaster, heater and compost loo to meet your basic needs and the hut is surprisingly quiet on the inside. The bird life around is simply wonderful and the rural setting is ideal to escape the world. Thank you for sharing this special corner of the world with passing guests. We'd be happy to return. Location was absolutely amazing. Views to die for Very relaxing,. Restaurant veranda overlooking the loch. Onsite watersports Fabulous, friendly, accommodating, staff Room - large, extra large bed, very comfortable mattress, great view, amazing shower. Great breakfast and dinner was excellent. Food and drinks were very good value Would definitely go back
Lovely peaceful stay near Portpatrick. Lodge is basic but has everything you need and is really good value for money. We loved watching the sheep and lambs go about their day and the beautiful sunsets from the lodge. Owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Loved the location. The house was gorgeous and had everything you needed.The wee summer house down by the river was spectacular. Loved watching all the wildlife. A truly pleasurable and relaxing experience. We will be back.
A lovely big spacious sea view room with a window seat to sit and watch the sea and sunset. Fabulous staff. Lovely food.
The breakfast was lovely. The location overlooking the Loch was fantastic, especially as there was a lovely sunset.
We had a large room with a fabulous view over the harbour, we watched a beautiful sunset. The food in the bar was very good, breakfast was good and the location fantastic.
The room we had was number 7. It was very spacious and clean. Patio doors took you on to a large veranda with a spectacular view of the loch. Little visits from ducks and swans was lovely. Very beautiful sunsets. We had breakfast and dinner which were both fantastic in choice and taste. The panoramic views are amazing. You can participate in water sports if you wish and we may have a go on our next visit. Very dog friendly, which was good for us as our dog is getting older. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Plenty parking spaces.
