The location was so peaceful,stunning views, surrounded by nature at its best,saw an abundance of wildlife, fascinating to see.The cabin was a great space,very comfortable bed.Kitchen area was well equipped.Toilets and showers very clean.Met Brian the host,an all round lovely guy. Good base for visiting nearby Castlewellan and Newcastle.

We had a great welcome despite a late check in. The room was lovely. We sat on the balcony when we arrived watching the sea. Perfect. Lovely hot shower in a beautifully clean bathroom. Lovely decorated room We were able to pick our breakfast time and the breakfast was delicious, hot and beautifully presented. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Newcastle.
Such a great location on the seafront. The view and wildlife is amazing and there are benches across the road to sit on and watch it all with a drink or coffee. Really quiet at night once the last ferry has departed.
The staff are very welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful setting with the mountains and the sea. That is what attracted us to book this hotel. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The Percy French is lovely for a steak dinner. Which we both choose. The deserts were beautiful.
Nice location, close to Belfast and other nice cities and shopping’s. Stunning view from the room, bed clothes fresh and clean, warm and comfort room with nice hot shower 🚿
Liked the hot shower with great water pressure and very comfortable bed and overall liked everything.

Location is excellent, right by the Lough with great views across to Strangford. Great for wildlife, birdwatching, just a nice place to be.
