Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, FERNANDA Dome at FéLIZA Rainforest Domes is situated in Monteverde Costa Rica. The view was awesome! We were in total ‘awe’ when we entered. The way they dome is organised is great, you have a big bathroom and kitchen, while you can enjoy all of the view out of your bed. The bed was out of this world, haven’t slept as well during our whole trip then there. It was very clean and very well equipped! The outdoor bath was perfect under the sky full of stars. The hosts are wonderful, when you need something they will fix it for you in a minute. It was my birthday during our stay and they decorated the dome with balloons and gave Costa Rican donuts as a gift 🥰 Couldn’t have celebrated my birthday anyplace better!

Offering a garden and garden view, Jungle Tent 3x3, Latino Glamping & Tours, Paquera is situated in Paquera, 9.2 km from Tortuga Island and 33 km from Montezuma Waterfal. The hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Wilma stayed in my cabin to look after my pets one night so that I could go kayaking and see the bioluminescence in the harbor. You cannot beat this kind of customer care! Franco buit me a bonfire twice during my stay. You just have to ask and Wilma and Frano will do their best to accommodate you.The site itself is super quiet. I only had to look up to see monkeys, parrots and a great variety of birds. The kitchen was well equiped. I loved every minute of my stay there. Going to the beach was an adventure and my dogs loved the walk there. They struggled a bit crossing the river over a suspended log, but that was part of the adventure:) I only want to add that this is rough camping, simple and secluded. If this is what you are looking for, you will be in heaven.

This is what you want!!!!! Beautiful people and the ultimate jungle experience with the comfort you need. What an amazing place and what an awesome owner who cares so much about all the nature and animals around. He is very knowledgeable and when we did the night tour with him (which is awesome) we learned so much about the forest, flora and fauna and spotted many animals. Also the volunteers were so nice and welcoming. There's a great and very cozy chill out area and communal kitchen. Really great vibes. It is a few kilometres away from the town but easy to request a taxi there and you really just are in the middle of the jungle. Also.... The food cooked there is definitely the best in the area of Drake bay. Only stayed 2 nights which felt too short but so happy that we went. The walk to the waterfall is beautiful, here you are able to spend time in the jungle without a guide.. We will be back Elmer, Thank you!!!! ❤️

We had a wonderful one night stay with Wilma and Franco with our two kids. We did the bioluminescence kayak tour which was just magical. Franco helped our kids getting across a river so we could spend the next morning at the nearby beautiful beach. The kids also loved all the toys in the tent!

The location right by the beach with a wonderful Veranda lends for hours of sunset gazing and bird watching . The staff are all super friendly and helpful and it’s one of the cleanest hostels I‘ve seen in all of Costa Rica. The bathroom is painted in jungle scenes and made me happy every time I entered . The breakfast is so big and varied that imI almost couldn’t eat it all. They can organise tours for you and you get a discount if you stay at the hostel . There are supermarkets nearby and I cooked my own dinner in the kitchen. It was an absolute delight to stay at Pirate Drake bay hostel.
