For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The super cute cabin is set within beautiful surroundings. Really breathtaking! It’s absolutely delightful to watch the sunset from there. Very close to many tourist attractions in the region, and also close to the towns center where you can find a Spar and different restaurants. Jeff is so nice! We really had a fantastic time! Totally recommend
Everything was beautiful. We sat there talking and talking and playing with the kids. The boardgames were a hit with the kids.
I will definitely go back with friends to have those conversations next to that bar.....lovely set up for an intimate outing with few friends.
The photos don't even do justice to this place.....sunset oh wow!!!! Views....
We stayed in one of the 4 person tents and it was really comfortable. Beds and bedding were comfy etc. The bathroom facilities were excellent - best shower we had in our entire South African holiday!!. The heated pool was also lovely and I had to drag my kids out of there for bedtime.
Photos are correct. But we had a terrible stay. No hot water in the evening. Did manage a hot shower in the morning.
The beds are broken and was very uncomfortable and the sleeper couch was absolutely filthy under the throws.
The facilities are stunning and could be q great place.
Extremely loud music until 11pm..my children could not sleep. We will not stay here again!
Staff very nice however.
The heating swimming pool was worked on and it was said that it would be ready before we left, that did not happen. The tents was very clean and neat. We appreciated the heating blankets. Thank you.
Sabie is ideally located to explore the greater Lowveld region - equidistant from Sudwala Caves, Nelspruit, White River, Pilgrim's Rest, Blyde River Reserve, Hazyview, and only an hour from Kruger Park. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The gas geyser worked like a bomb ensuring hot showers throughout our stay, despite endless power cuts.
Everything was incredible. Chris and Merle, who run the place, are just the most wonderful people you will meet. They are so kind and they took such good care of us. There is secure parking at the back. The room was spacious and the breakfast the next morning was amazing! Chris' wildlife photography is displayed all over the house. The location is very quiet and it is easy to get to many of the waterfalls in the area. Graskop and Pilgrim's Rest are also not very far away. I highly recommend this place.
Christopher & Jolene friendly & informative. We were upgraded to a self-catering unit, which will be our future choice as the room was easily accessible from the parking area, as well as being close to the restaurant so that we could order our dinner and enjoy it on the private verandah.
I think they are only missing microwaves for the tents
