Easy access to everything. Older style home that was very warm and comfortable. In particular I liked the walk through main bedroom wardrobe with heaps of space. The bedspreads were a bonus, super cosy, and far superior to 2 sheet layers with a quilt in between that most places use as bedding. Lovely verandah and great sitting area in the garden. Would definitely stay again.

Was booked after the reception working hour and managed to get fast check in upon arrival. Staff is friendly and efficient. The en-suite bathroom is spacious and have a good hot shower after long day travel and the best thing is you do not need to walk out from the room during cold day. Comfort bed as well. Location is good and you will be able get parking nearby should the parking lot in front of hostel is occupied.

Loved it. Perfect place for two. Was rather spacious open plan living. It was warm. Enjoyed the afternoon sunsets with incredible views. Close enough to town. At the end of a quiet dead end street.

Location and friendly/helpful staff. Views from the 2nd floor Chill-out Room verandah. Very large, well appointed kitchen and downstairs common room. Outside area would be nice in sunny weather. Good ensuite bathroom and comfortable bed.

Almost the size of a small house, with laundry facilities and a great kitchen. Basic but spacious, two minutes' walk from town and with an awesome view of the lake from the veranda. We requested ground floor and got it. Lovely fruit trees and hydrangeas outside.

Everything! Really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, 2 resident cats! Very eco-friendly food waste handling as it goes to the pet pigs! 🐷 Sensible system for food storage in kitchen. Rooms were nice, and the bathrooms were modern and clean. Lots of outdoor seating and hammocks to enjoy. ☀️ The hostel has its own vegetable garden! 🌱 As per the name, fantastic view of the mountains, very pretty sunsets!
