We had an amazing stay with David and Annika. The hotel is very beautifully decorated, comfortabel beds, good wifi, tasty braai 😄. The owners give you a very warm welcome. We also did a trip to find the desert elephants. David gave a lot of information and we saw the beautifull elephants. Higly recommended. I would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our days at the desert house! Lovely hosts, best breakfast and Braai, comfy beds and very nice area with garden to relax. They offer desert elephant tours to a very reasonable price. We didn't wanted to leave, highly recommended.

This is a Jewel!!! the Desert House is a remarkable place. The rooms are finished with lots of love to details. After being the 5th time in Namibia and 2 months into this trip I can honestly say that this guesthouse ranks very very high on my list. The owners,Annika and David, are the best hosts you can imagine. They did not leave one wish unfulfilled or question unanswered. The Desert House will definitely a stop on our next visit to Namibia. This is a fantastic place to stop after a hot day touring around. The tents are clean and the beds are comfortable. The toilet and outdoor areas are very nice. The staff are lovely. The food is great. The pool area is lovely. We loved all the cacti.

Very rarely do I post a comment but it would be impossible not to mention that the hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming. I have travelled quite a bit in the last years and I have to admit that the Desert House is in my top 3 of best places to visit. Without any doubt would I recommend you to visit.

Super accomodation in a small town. The hosts are super friendly and do whatever is possible to make you feel at home. They even accompany you to the place to dine. The rooms were clean, well furnished and all you could ever need is present. Very good place to stay. Don't hesitate to stay at The Desert House. Delicous breakfast and lovely pool to cool down ! Just ring the bell and you will experience what hospitality is about !

Good views from the hill behind. Run by friendly locals, one of the few places run by black Namibians we stayed at in our month in Namibia. Owner does all she can to help the local villagers. Dinner & breakfast were good value for money. Friendly owner was happy to talk about her life & business. Campsite is a work in progress. Will be even better in future. Cultural tour offered good insights into traditional Himba culture. Plenty of space for our group of 8 (6 tents) to spread out.
