For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
This place is amazing! It's basically a bungalow without a kitchen, but they serve delicious fresh food at the adjoining restaurant for a good price.
The bungalow is set in a quiet garden with its own patio for chilling. There is a tree in fromt of the patio for a hammock ;)
There are two big beds, each with a mosquito net. The sheets and towels are clean and the room was nicely prepared for our arrival.
The owner is a really friendly guy and is available to help if you need anything.
Great location, walkable distance from 2 beaches and close to restaurants. Comfortable room with AC and a mosquito net too. Very clean bathroom with hot shower. Nice outdoor seating area, perfect spot for the plentiful breakfast! Very friendly family! We also had dinner one evening which was delicious and very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend!!
The staff is really warm and welcoming. If you need something. You can swim in the pool, play 8 ball pool or use a kayak to go to the lake for free which is really nice.
You can also use sun beds and hammocks for free to chill near by the beach. It doesn’t feel safe to swim where the resort is. It is better to walk a bit to get to the nice place for the swimming.
The resort looks nice but I feel that it could be better for the price, compared to other places we’ve stayed at for the same price.
The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable with mosquito nets over both beds. The owners were really hospitable and lovely to deal with, the food was delicious too. There was a hammock and comfy seats outside each room on the terrace. It was only 5 minutes from a beautiful beach and a turtle sanctuary. where we saw a turtle laying eggs which was amazing.
Amazing place - the best I found in Sri Lanka !
Great hosts, - Supun & the team were fabulous ! delightful breakfasts, hot shower, ac that works ! your own kettle, mosquito nets, great location 2 mins to beach and all restaurants yet quiet and beautiful 🪴 garden
Stay here if you can ! I can not recommend it enough !
Spacious and clean AC room with fan, mosquito net, private bathroom, towels and table with two chairs. No hot shower but this was fine for us. We could use the fridge and the hosts mother helped us out with hot water to make coffee. They also offer breakfast which we didn’t take. It’s very close to the beach and just a short walk to the town and bus station. Overall good value for 3750 rupees per night.
The location is beautiful in a quite aerea, the cottage is spacious and clean with a nice terrace ( sun bed and hammock), we really enjoyed our stay here (5 nights).
Good value for the money.
We would definitely choose it again.
Highly recommend.
We really liked this hotel. We lived on the second floor in a large room with two large beds. There was air conditioning, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a stove and a kettle. Large bathroom with hot shower and good water pressure.
And the balcony on the second floor was simply magnificent. There was a good view and you could see a piece of the ocean. The balcony was very comfortable, there were even sun beds. We had a great time! Thanks to the owner and his wife!
Very nice hotel with small Cabanas directly at the beach, the view and the beach are amazing. There are sun beds and a hammock for each room. Good place to relax at the beach! The food is okay, but there are better places at the city.
All perfect. Cabana equipped with all services. We were greeted by the staff and treated in a special way throughout our stay. Comfortable bed with mosquito net, large bathroom with hot shower.
Excellent hotel restaurant with freshly prepared food and hearty dishes. Fantastic breakfast.
The large beach with sun beds, hammock and deck chairs made available to guests.
Too bad we only stayed one night. We will definitely be back
