Perched on the hills of the private and secluded Megwarra escarpment lies Entumoto Safari Camp. The camp offers panoramic views over the Mara plains and features an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar.

The room and facilities were top class and the set up very impressive, including growing their own fruit and veg (we toured the garden). The Entumoto team were excellent and very warm and welcoming and provided great service, including the food which was delicious. We also enjoyed having Alex as our guide for the days that we stayed who shared his knowledge and kept us laughing as we saw all of the big 5!
Providing garden views, Entumoto Main Camp in Ololaimutiek offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

Wonderful location and setting, lovely tents and comfortable communal areas.
Staff were excellent and especially our safari guide (Maleo, apologies if I am spelling the name incorrectly, he also has a nickname ‘The Don’) was not only an expert knowledgeable guide, but also fantastic company and we loved our 2 full days of driving with him.

The property is outside the National Park. It’s conveniently located but I had booked two tents for 4 people. During check out, I was told that the price is only for two adults and they charged me 100$ for two people which burnt a hole in my pocket during the trip. I showed them my reservation from Booking.com which said 4 guest but they didn’t allow me to check out without paying the amount. The property only has wifi at the reception so I couldn’t not even contact Booking.com. The tents were very basic so paying 100$ extra for two people was really stressful. During check out I had asked the staff to check the details but they didn’t tell me anything during check in. The property allowed four people to check in when they had reservations only for 2 people, wow!!!!!! I will neither book this property again nor recommend it to anyone else.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Spacious room with good mattress, I slept very well. Had four brilliant days of Safari here and the people were lovely. If you want to support conservation then stay in this lovely lodge run by the Masai rather than in one run by foreign companies.
Beautiful place in the hills of the Maara… extremely friendly and accommodating staff… amazing luxury tents… top-notch local guides - Alex, our guide, and Jon, the GM, are exceptionally welcoming and knowledgable… great food produced in their own gardens… incredible wildlife right in the reserve itself… beautiful game drives, not only in the Maara reserve but also in the conservatories which allow you to do walking safaris… bonfires for sunsets in the bush… just infredible… cannot recommend more… we had a wonderful time and will be back.
Osero Lodge is a beautiful base for an incredible trip to the Masai Mara. If you get a chance to go on safari then DO IT! It's life changing. The staff are so kind and attentive and the masai guards escorting you to your tent is so comforting when you feel like you are out of your comfort zone.
Staff friendliness, cleanliness, food, food, food!!!
The animals come onto the property so you have a small safari without even leaving the property. The staff is unbelievable - the African hospitality is unbelievable and unforgettable. It shows every step of the way. You feel welcome and the staff is happy to be there for you. Happy people, happy place!
Lovely place in the maasai mara. The staff is really friendly, the game drives are amazing and the place looks lovely. The tents are beautiful and the staff make sure you have a warm bed at night.
Most likely you find some wildlife in their beautiful garden when having lunch or breakfast.
We were so happy to book Jambo Mara Safari lodge the way last minute since our previous booking fell through. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable.
I highly recommend Jambo Mara Safari lodge and would stay again if going to Masai Mara.
The food was great too!
Facility and tents were very cool, especially the atmosphere in the large tent for meals and the fire place. At night there were guides that helped you get to the tent, which was helpful. Food was very nice and it was very easy to get the vegetarian option.
The camp is really nice and the staff were super helpful. Even when one of us was unwell due to anti-malaria medication, the staff were so helpful, especially Grace. Our safari guide Simon was also excellent! Nice food and great restaurant service from the staff.
the camp was spectacular! tents very clean and luxurious, with incredible views over the savanah. the staff are so friendly, they welcome you like a member of the family.
the camp is very flexibility with activities so you can do safaris/ bush meals/ hikes and relaxing whenever you want.
we were so sad to leave and can’t wait to go back!
The tents were clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome and at home. The Massai warriors be god guarding the camp at night from ant unwanted wildlife visits was very re- assuring and they would walk you to your tent at night so your felt safe walking the pathways.
