For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Staff were very friendly and check in was pretty smooth. The room was clean and comfy. Yummy food. In nature, so it was good to be able to stay away from the town. Safari jeeps came to the hotel for pick up (it is located near the park), although the actual park entrance that they use for safari tours isn't the one where the hotel is (it is on the other side of the town ... so you need to drive for a bit to get there ... more an FYI).
Property has been curated to a nice jungle ambience and has visiting wildlife like langoors, snakes, birds, etc. Restaurant and watch towers overlook the buffer zone, and are nice places to relax. Staff were very hospitable and helpful. Food and cocktails were great.
It's a nice green place with just 5 luxurious tents. So nice and cozy, not too many people.
I think after monsoon it's very nice with the river. Now it was almost empty, but still a beautiful place.
Of course there are many other hotels and resorts around, but it doesn't feel like it when you are on the property.
The food was good and the owner was very helpful and kind.
We did 2 jungle safari organised by them and, both where great.
The host was very helpful, helped us book tickets for the jungle safari, assisted in getting transport to reach different places. The place in itself is located in a very good location with public transport services being very accessible. It's also very clean and nicely maintained.
This is my third time to Mandaal. I usually visit here for the Host who outperform every other wildlife team at Jim Corbett. This time I came to try their new activity which is Cycle Safari and I loved every minute of it. Rooms are spacious, the adventurous approach to property start your excitement before you reach the property.

And yes one more addition, The Food (it’s yummy)
The food is good, stay is comfortable, bathrooms are clean and best of all AC in tents because wheather can get hot here.
The host are superb, you would really enjoy the best hospitality. they can arrange for a jungle safari as well.
The guide Gopal was fun to speak to, is very knowledgeable and has a whole lot of stories. The river walk trail is a bonus …
This camp offers peace and simplicity. Don’t book this property if you are coming to party or looking for something lavish.
The thing that I like the most about this place is the family hosts. They are so kind and so nice in a way that makes you feel home. They can provide you a tasty food and home made meals. They are always here to help, listen and make your experience better(They can bring you into walk around the river or suggest you a good safari deal ). I would also like to mention that the tents we clean and spaced with all facilities.
