For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The location on the edge of the jungle was exceptional. The garden was beautiful, and there were monkeys in the trees. A very peaceful location with hammocks dotted around the garden. Nazeem and his family were very welcoming and assisted us in everything we wanted to do as well as explaining to us about the local festival that was on at the time. It was very relaxing oasis.
Super beautiful creative decor home surrounded by nature, wildlife everywhere a perfect escape from the busyness. nassil the owner of this magical place was very welcoming and kind … it really is the place to relax and chill. the rooms was wonderful I highly recommend a visit. I look forward to returning ☺️
The position is fantastic literally on the border of the wildlife protected area, with a wealth of wild animals wandering around in the beautifuly lush jungle garden. A paradise.
This place is literally on the edge of the park and fronts straight onto the forest. We saw loads of wildlife, and there was even someone making a video documentary of ‘wildlife from a hotel veranda’ there! Chilling on the balcony was great, and very peaceful. Note, no restaurant, so we got transport to thekaddy town (5 mins, or 15 walking). Overall really good value.
Very friendly, kind and helpful host and staff.
Excellent home cooked breakfast/evening meal
Great Location on edge of jungle
Superb balcony view of jungle wildlife
Knowledgeable host who was v happy to help us book bamboo rafting /spice tour etc
Easy walking distance to local shops
Safe and homely
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. There is a lot of vegetation and birds around the hotel, which gives peace of mind. The location is far from the tea plantations and the place from which the jeeps for Kolukkumalai peak, but is close to a jeep safari.
Everything was perfect :
- the host is lovely
- quiet place
- short walk in the middle of a spice garden to discover a superb point of view and admire the sunset above the lake
Great place at the end of a dead end road backing onto 2 forests with plenty of wildlife but still close enough to walk to town. Naseer is the also perfect host.
