We enjoy the peacefulness of the location, with no main roads nearby, lots of wildlife, and country walks. It is close to Thornhill so you can visit this town.
The host kept in contact when we got lost and guided us there. She made sure we got in. The place is in a beautiful setting a real Scottish country side with stunning sunsets. The place was spotless and homely. The house is kitted out with everything you need and we loved sitting the garden having lunch it was so peaceful. The whole family will be going back.
The room was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed. The bathroom had not only a full size bath but also an exceptional 'rainfall' shower, possibly better described as a torrential downpour hot shower, almost of a size to cleanse a football team! The breakfast was well cooked and it, and dinner, was served by friendly staff.
