The property was perfect. We booked the camping barn as an alternative to camping so we didn’t have to worry about putting up tents and cooking equipment etc. it didn’t disappoint, the lady that greeted us was lovely, the bed was a dream after a day of walking, the Setting is beautiful and the pub 10 minutes walk away was the cherry on top!

Lovely welcome, Really helpful staff, warm cosy superbly clean room, super hot shower for cold walkers and big towels, excellent food and great quality breakfast with good choice and really good bottomless coffee!! This is an excellent place to stay at a very reasonable price.

The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring!
The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!
