The shepherds hut was cleverly designed and nicely finished. Inside was cosy and very clean, and bed was comfortable
The outside area lovely, with chicken run next to the hut.
Nice touches with fresh eggs, butter and milk, bottled water, condiments and plenty of tea and coffee.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had fresh milk and towels every day and came asked if we needed anything else. Breakfast was very nice as well. On our last day, we all went up for breakfast but didn't book. There were 16 of us, and the guy in the bar was alone he did an amazing job 👏 thank you so much

Wow ! What a fantastic cozy camping location with fantastic facilities. The site was extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean, the owners have thought of everything even down to tin foil and a pepper mill. We loved the use of the hottub and the skittles alley was a huge hit with my children as were the goats ! We will absolutely be returning and next time hope to bring friends with us. The weather was glorious so the addition of the fire pits were a nice touch for toasting marshmallows while sat under the stars playing cards.
Thank you Staggs head for a wonderful bank holiday weekend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The host and the location were wonderful. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is beautiful and perfectly located for us to stay and get out and about. Our Yurt was fab. We stayed in a Yurt with Electricity, and it was great to have with a young family. The bed was super comfy, which added to our lovely experience. The bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen area had everything you needed for a stay. As a solo parent travelling with 2 young kids, I felt very safe here. My kids loved running around the field area, and they loved seeing the cows and horses on the drive into the farm.

Peaceful and secluded yet not too far from a main road if you wanted to nip out for the day/evening.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Firstly, the staff are very friendly and always helpful. We stayed in one of the Bell tents, I’m not a keen camper but this was lovely, the tent has a plug so that you can charge your phone or use you hair dryer etc.. And the bed is so comfortable!
The site is well maintained and modern. If you have food from the restaurant you won’t be disappointed, the food we had was delicious! Breakfast is a must. The site is next to road but I didn’t find it to be an issue, at all.
Over all we really enjoyed our stay, everything was spot on, thank you.
Excellent service, good cooked breakfast. Excellent dinner main course, limited desert menu.
Lovely en-suite (especially now water supply is pressured. Same room last year couldn't get any water at peak times!)
Great location. Tent was cosy and very comfortable…. Plenty of bedding …warm. Strong dry tents ….hearing heavy rain overnight sounded very relaxing …tent bone dry.
Manager was a young lady …who was exemplary…. Could no fault any aspect of care and attention……sadly didn’t get her name - Thank you
We stayed in one of the lodges which was estuary facing and peaceful. It was lovely to watch some of the abundant wildlife on an evening. Staff were pleasant when we popped over to the main hotel to use the pool and the overall location and character of the property is good.
We liked everything the tent offered. The tents are beautifully furnished with a very comfy bed, bean bag seating, clothing rack and small table with tea and coffee making facilities and all on a carpeted floor. At night the solar lights make it easy to find your tent and the electricity provides power for lamps inside.
There is plenty of room inside the tent and the fabric is heavy enough not to flap around like a basic ten ton the wind.
Stayed in one of the Bell tents and had one of the best nights sleep ever. The bed was so comfy. Lovely veggie breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings. Loved waking to the sound of birds, the river, and some rather noisy sheep. 🤣
Wonderful location, lovely to sit in the excellent hot tub watching the sunset and the stars in the sky. Very spacious, lovely sofas and comfy bed.
Excellent WI-FI.
Very close to Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay and Paignton which is brilliant.
Would stay here again definitely!!!
