We had a great welcome despite a late check in. The room was lovely. We sat on the balcony when we arrived watching the sea. Perfect. Lovely hot shower in a beautifully clean bathroom. Lovely decorated room
We were able to pick our breakfast time and the breakfast was delicious, hot and beautifully presented. We would definitely stay there again if we returned to Newcastle.
The staff are very welcoming. The hotel has a beautiful setting with the mountains and the sea. That is what attracted us to book this hotel. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The Percy French is lovely for a steak dinner. Which we both choose. The deserts were beautiful.
Love the hotel is was a real wow on walking in the door. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Food was amazing and the view of the sunset and sunrise was gorgeous will be visiting again.
visited round my birthday and got a free bottle of bubbly with my meal..Perfect setting, Right next to the forest. parking is a free for all during the day but further into the evening, spaces closer to the hotel become available. The Breakfast was perfect. We travelled into newcastle tha evening for sunset and icecream. perfect. Beds comfy and a lovely surrounding area. we visited the maze and hope to go back soon for a kayake adventure on the lake .
Andy was fabulous! We woke up in the early morning to deer munching apples right outside the window! Breakfast and hot shower were perfect- will be telling all my friends to book! Huge bed and v comfy!
Wonderful peaceful location, fantastic service from Andy, superb breakfast that set us up for the day, great hot tub under the stars and watching wildlife. Andy very helpful with where to go and what to do.
Beautiful location with a gorgeous garden & lots of wildlife to see around. Lots of bird watching & had a lovely time hiking getting grounded. Perfect location to stay for walking & other activities. Can access tollymore through a conjoining road too.
