Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
The Hotel Colonial de Santillana del Mar is in a great location, walking distance to the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful in carrying bags to our rooms. The room was spacious, bed comfy and great to have an overhead fan for the heat.
We sat outside at sunset and had drinks. Breakfast was great. Thanks.
The apartment has a nice living room with large table, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and spacious sunny deck. Good water pressure for hot showers. The large public parking lot was free during our stay. Reasonably quiet. About 8 minute walk to old town.
A beautiful building lovingly run by two warm, friendly and slightly eccentric brothers. The building and contents are actually amazing, and it's a labyrinth of stairs, corridors and incredible artefacts! The rooms are comfortable but basic, we were fortunate enough to have a whole 4 bunk room to ourselves, and a slight downside was the noise from rowing neighbours which went on until the early hours.
Great location next to the town.Easy access to shops and restaurants. Good sized bed and bathroom. Plenty of parking. Hot shower. Plenty of breakfast choices. Very good value for money.
Looks really pretty. Cotton sheets and good access to plug sockets. Guy on reception was reasonably friendly, although a little rude when I pointed out the location is wrong on Apple Maps. Why didn’t I use google?? Well because I have an iPhone..
He was great about the room though, I ended up having the whole dorm to myself. There is a cafe nearby, and a hotel for evening food. However, the hotel food was basic with no options. I was given Russian salad, fried fish and potatoes,,and a creamy desert plus wine for €10.
Location, location, location!
Beautifully located in nature ánd super close to the center (2 min walk), nice garden, laundry machines, hosts are very hospitable. We had a great stay with the four of us (2 little ones).
Tops: sunset, trampoline, free parking, wifi, nice bed, sleeping couch from Ikea.
Nice camping, cozy and beautiful tents. I liked the interior and the decorations. Sleeping was super comfortable. There is also a swimming pool on site. Location is perfect.
