This lovely hostal is an oasis of tranquility and calm amidst what often feels to me to be the hectic tourist craze of San Pedro. The rooms are so comfy, the facilities so clean (amazing kitchen too with a lovely view!), and I love the clean beautiful blissful desert architecture. Lovely and helpful staff, great atmosphere, very great value.

Great cost benefit, beds were good and clean, hot shower and the receptionist was super kind and helpfull. It was a 15min walk from the main street (Caracoles) but in the way it´s a GREAT bakery (La Franchuteria)!

Great accommodation very close to the centre of San Pedro, but nice and quiet. The room was provided with a gas heater which kept it nice and warm, also with a good hot shower. The hotel provides coffee/tea throughout the day and it has nice areas to just hang around. The wifi worked perfectly, also in my room. I wish I stayed longer!

The room and the whole Atacama lodge have a charming atmosphere. The buildings look like modernised versions of the homes of the Atacamenios people. The beds are comfortable. The view of the Licancabur Vulcano is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. Our host, Franklin, was fantastic! He made excellent coffee and breakfast and advised us on our daily excursions.

The room was very small and inside it was very hot. There appears to be no way to ventilate the room appropriately. The only window is very small and there is no mosquito net, thus if you leave it open during the night you get mosquitoes. There was an electric fan that helped but was very noisy. The service was excellent, though. And I enjoyed the pool after a long day in the desert/

Lovely staff, thank you Pauline...a nice courtyard of hammocks and seats in the shade, great tents that are a bargain if you don't mind the heat in the day.....

I stayed for a week and loved it! The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and super clean, and the breakfast is really rich. There is a lovely garden with hammocks, which is perfect to relax in after a busy day exploring the desert. The best part are the staff - all very friendly and accommodating, they helped me with a hundred different things. I was there for New Years and they put up a party for us, with free food and drinks. Very grateful!

the view is the best, you can simply stay all day in the hotel looking at it. as the territory of the hotel is very dimly lit at night, you can watch the stars even from your bed through the window. also, it’s a small and really quiet place with a lovely terrace for breakfast and hammocks among the trees. the bikes are a wonderful bonus! strongly recommend taking and riding around the town to find the best spot for watching the sunset. and maybe the biggest bed I ever had a chance to sleep in, wonderful!
