Casa Diverio is situated in Stresa. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The aparthotel features a hot tub and a lift. We had a lovely large airy one bed appartment. There was a mini market below for tea and milk and breakfast items. Very centrally placed in Stresa for shopping, eating and touring the islands. The lady was there to check us in as promised and she gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We were sorry to find that 3 November was the last day for the tourists trips to the 3 islands. We never thought to check this fact. We arrived about midday and were able to rush out and get a trip to just two of the islands which was great.

Friendly and personable staff. Beautiful room with lake view and balcony. Large bathroom and shower. Dinner at the DL was excellent as was the included breakfast. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Situated in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Villa Diomira features accommodation with a garden and private parking. I loved everything about this stay. A location is perfect. The magnificent view from the balcony across the lake and mountains. The building, room, bed, bathroom all is super cool. Barbara, the host, is very nice, welcoming and she loves her place. Also, the breakfast was superior!

Featuring a shared lounge and views of city, cavaedium guest house is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Arona, 39 km from Busto Arsizio Nord. The location and rooms were beautiful! Deborah and her husband went out of their way to welcome us and help with our luggage. Would definitely recommend and hope to return for a longer stay.

Garibaldi 26 is located in Stresa. Among the facilities at this property are a lift and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. This cosy 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable, clean and secure. It had a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and all the necessary conveniences for a longer stay. There is a lift, which is super convenient. The apartment is located right in the center with shops and eateries just outside the doorstep. The host was lovely too and very prompt in communication.

Offering city views, Casa Gambusso historical house magnificent Lake View is an accommodation located in Verbania, 41 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and 41 km from Golfclub Patriziale Ascona. The apartment is charming and full of character. Plus, it is huge and very well-equipped with everything from a pair of scissors to a cork screw. The hosts, Maria and Paolo, could not do enough for us. They even provided wine and several types of water in the fridge for us. There were maps with places of interest and restaurants in the area in a basket on the table. The ultimate kindness was taking us to the train station on our day of departure and handing as a bag of special amaretti cookies from the area. We travel a lot and places like this are few and far between. Very special.
