There was a mini market below for tea and milk and breakfast items. Very centrally placed in Stresa for shopping, eating and touring the islands. The lady was there to check us in as promised and she gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We were sorry to find that 3 November was the last day for the tourists trips to the 3 islands. We never thought to check this fact. We arrived about midday and were able to rush out and get a trip to just two of the islands which was great.

Friendly and personable staff. Beautiful room with lake view and balcony. Large bathroom and shower. Dinner at the DL was excellent as was the included breakfast. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Barbara, the host, is very nice, welcoming and she loves her place. Also, the breakfast was superior!

Cavaedium guest house ofrece vistas a la ciudad, salón de uso común y wifi gratis, y se encuentra en Arona, a 39 km de Busto Arsizio Nord y a 40 km de Monasterio de Torba. The location and rooms were beautiful! Deborah and her husband went out of their way to welcome us and help with our luggage. Would definitely recommend and hope to return for a longer stay.

Casa Gambusso historical house magnificent Lake View se encuentra en Verbania, a 41 km de Piazza Grande de Locarno y a 41 km de Golf Club Patriziale Ascona, y ofrece vistas al lago y wifi gratis. The apartment is charming and full of character. Plus, it is huge and very well-equipped with everything from a pair of scissors to a cork screw. The hosts, Maria and Paolo, could not do enough for us. They even provided wine and several types of water in the fridge for us. There were maps with places of interest and restaurants in the area in a basket on the table. The ultimate kindness was taking us to the train station on our day of departure and handing as a bag of special amaretti cookies from the area. We travel a lot and places like this are few and far between. Very special.
