Set in Grindleford Bridge, 11 km from Chatsworth House, The Maynard offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything! Was absolutely stunning. Ppl were complaining about the creeky floors, but it comes with the charm!

The proprietors, staff, accommodation, cleanliness, quality of restaurant and bar provisions and general ambiance inside and out We will be thrilled to stay at The Little Mill Inn again on a future visit to the area !!!!

Located within 23 km of Utilita Arena Sheffield and 35 km of Buxton Opera House in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. We stayed one night B+B with our daughter and granddaughter who are with us from USA for 2 weeks over Christmas. We dined in the evening in the restaurant. Could not fault anything about The Peacock. Great location in the Derbyshire countryside - just 15 minutes to Chatsworth House. Rooms, food, drink, staff and management excellent. Our US visitors said it was the best place they had ever stayed at. Highly recommended!!

Hosts give good recommendations to nice restaurants in the area. If coming by train, double deck bus 218 connects you easily to Sheffield, routing Chatsworth House and beautiful scenery.

Set in Longnor, within 11 km of Buxton Opera House and 22 km of Chatsworth House, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese offers accommodation with a bar as well as free private parking for guests who drive. A wonderful place and a more than warm and welcoming host and staff. I'll come again.

Luxury Shepherd Hut in the Peak District in Bakewell provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. We absolutely loved it here. The view from the hut is stunning, At arrival a lot of little attentions welcomed us and our dog. Dog towels, treats, a toy, a chew, bowels. Everything was there. Very dog friendly. The owner came to check on us every now and then and was very friendly and attentive. There´s lots to do in the area. So we´ll come back for sure, one week´s too short!! Situated in Bradwell, in a historic building, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, Lyndale House is a bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. The house and room were very comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom was new, clean, and very spacious. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price.

Located in Castleton, 16 km from Buxton Opera House, Bulls Head, Castleton provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and staff actually took us to our room. There are only 5 rooms and nobody was noisy. The pub has excellent food and many people who were eating at dogs which were all well behaved. The bathrooms are remodeled, and breakfast is brought to your room. Good parking behind the Bull's Head.
