The property had very good practical utility — ample parking space, great secluded location surrounded by its own garden, comfortable rooms, well-designed spacious bathrooms. The property also certainly had its own personality - a common lounge space with a cosy fireplace and big leather sofas where we met and chatted with some other guests; a dining room with large windows, as well as another dining room that allowed pet dogs, and very welcoming staff hosting us. Felt like a cosy retreat!

With fantastic views of Rothiemurchus Forest and the Cairngorm Mountains, the High Range Lodge Hotel offers spacious rooms with original artwork by local artists. Despite a little old-fashioned furniture, the room was very nice. It is very warm, clean, and has everything needed. The bed is big and comfortable

Food top notch. Service beyond great. Check in very professional and friendly. We have been to this hotel numerous times over the past 24 years. Wonderful. Lots to do on Skye. Book ahead as very busy.
