FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

A young man at the front desk was very helpful in directing us toward art in the city. The room also came with a flotation device for swimming in the river and tickets for discounted public transport.
