Serene little location with an amazing view of Douro Valley. The room was spacious and clean and the soaps smelled really nice! The welcome box / maybe breakfast box was also very thoughtful. It was very quiet and peaceful at night as well. Maybe one other person was staying next door.

Everything! Beautiful location, wonderful facilities, great breakfast (try the delicious scones), beautiful art allover the walls but the best of all is the owner.

This property was above all expectations. The staff is kind and friendly, it’s small ( I think 6-8 rooms) so not overcrowded. They prepare meals on site. It was absolutely charming and the « slow life » needed for this holiday! Highly recommend! 5 *****

Superb location with great views on the Douro river, beautiful area with the garden. The guesthouse is well equipped, beds are comfortable, bathroom like new (or shortly after renovation). You will spend most of your stay there anyway, outside enjoying the views.
Beautifully designed holiday flats, absolutely spotless and with the best view ever. The owners were really friendly and helped us a lot with tips for trips around the area. It has definitely been the highlight of our Portugal roadtrip and we would love to come back.
