Oh, we *loved* this place! The location was perfect as we could walk to the downtown area. We also had a safe (enclosed) place to park our car. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and immaculate. We happened to be the only people staying there (shoulder season) and we very much enjoyed being able to use the very well-stocked kitchen and the huge rooftop patio. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. Although coffee and juice was available in the apartment, breakfast was a short walk away at a very welcoming pastry restaurant, which turned out to be a fun walk in the morning. Finally, the host was very easy to reach and so helpful and accommodating! We couldn't get the a/c to operate correctly (which turned out to be operator error!) and the host fixed it immediately and without any complaint about our cluelessness! We would definitely return if we were in the area again!

Everything was newly remodeled and expertly finished. The facilities were fabulous! Like most European hotel rooms it was on the small side, but it was beautifully designed and the bedding and towels were very high quality. They even had fluffy, monogrammed terry cloth robes for each of us.
The room is situated above the bakery, where we were greeted by Johanna and brought to our room……& speaking of the bakery, wow!! The breakfast they provided for us was fresh, hearty and just gorgeous!! Their bakery is a very very popular spot for the locals.
The view from our windows was beautiful (terraced mountains all around) & our location was perfect!! The train station was about 1 1/2 blocks across the street and the river and a gorgeous park and river walk just down the hill from us.
The staff was so kind and really proud of their beautiful building and bakery….& well they should be!!
Oh! And the BEST shower we have ever had. Really nice body products too.

I have no complaints about this place - wonderful location with a beautiful view from the balcony. Very comfortable, and very clean. The staff were so helpful and even gave us his number in case we needed any help with anything. Would 10/10 recommend.
It's an ideal place for an overnight stay whilst taking the Miradouro Train from Porto up and down the Douro Valley. We had a beautiful, spotlessly clean room with a balcony. The young staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed some small snacks there with a lovely Douro red wine (of course!) in the afternoon, and a lovely breakfast, with a lot of variety in the morning. The hotel is very convenient for the railway station. A perfect stay, thank you! ❤️

Location was nice, steep uphill climb but a nice view. It was very clean. Bed was nice, pantry was sufficient for a short stay, nice towels and big bathroom.
Host was very kind and patient. The location was ideal. Breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was generous and tasty. The old guys sitting at the front of the restaurant looked grumpy but were very sweet after
a Bom Dias. The ac was greatly appreciated and the room was very clean. View from the room on the 4th floor was well worth the stairs.
The accommodation was like a home away from home, light, airy and spotlessly clean. Every room was spacious and had everything we could have needed. The pool area was relaxing and the apartment was in an excellent central location.
Good location with free parking nearby. Very clean with views of the river. Complimentary port and cake in the room. The staff appeared to work hard especially one girl who multitasked trying to look after the rooms whilst working flat out in the bakery downstairs.
