It’s an amazing experience for us. The host and her family were indeed very supportive and friendly as mentioned in all the comments and we followed Celine’s recommendation to a hiking trip nearby. The road, the waterfall and the restaurant on the road… just love it.
Bathing water is warm and stable.

For those trying to save, these fun, budget hotels still have lots to offer, from Wifi to convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties are set in central areas and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find loads of options that feature 24-hour front desks and luggage storage.
It’s sparkling clean. The location is perfect if you are here for the scenery of switzerland. You will be waking up every morning with the mountains and the water.
Place was okay. Don’t expect much. There is a kitchen with minimum utensils. There is a lake behind the property and location is good if you have a car (we had) but parking is additional CHF 10 per night. There is a bus stop near by where you can get a bus direct to Interlaken centre but frequency reduced as it gets late in night. As there is a train line behind the house you will hear the noise every time train passes but will get used to it if stays for long. Flat on second floor without lift so might not be suitable for some people.
Location was a little away from town center, it’s ok if you drive. Original room supposed to come with a dryer, but room changed due to pipe leakage, however owner help to dry our clothes and carried our luggages to new room. Owner was easy to talk to and helpful
Magnificent location. clran and cozy flat Tom the host, was there welcoming us. Thun lake is very near and we can see it partially through windows. the bus that takes you to interlaken is near.

The accommodation is spacious enough to comfortably host 6 adults and 2 children, ensuring everyone has sufficient room to relax and enjoy their stay. Highly recommended for families or groups seeking a convenient and comfortable place to stay while exploring these beautiful regions.
Very quiet neighbourhood (when we were there), not far from expensive Interlaken, this location was rather affordable. Accessible by car or train from Interlaken, it offers peaceful views of the lake and train tracks. Parking nearby (don't forget the printed permit from the host).
A very enjoyable stay and an ideal location to visit the nearby mountains and lakes. The apartment was great, spacious, very clean, tastefully furnished and super equipped.
