Also was within a very close walking distance to 2 restraunts. Also liked, that they provided sand chairs to use.

The Villa #222 was very quaint and quiet. We loved that it was secluded but close enough to be within walking distance of Main Street with the shops restaurants etc. we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t drive again until we left. The Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean and pristine.
Very clean mini cabin villas equipped with comfortable beds, large TV's, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Beautiful peaceful riverfront views right outside the back deck. Perfect place for having morning coffee. Love the outdoor amenities available to guests including family fun games, firepit areas with precut fire wood, seating, & lighting. Qualla cabins is now our most favorite extended weekend getaway!
This was the most well appointed vacation rental we have ever stayed at. It had everything you could need. It was so homey! By far a favorite.
Typical motel on the road near all Cherokee attractions and shops. The balcony overlooking the Oconaluftee River is very relaxing and we were able to sleep with the balcony door open without AC, which we really enjoyed. We went to the open air theater and the Cherokee village, the Qualla shop has authentic handicrafts, the others sell Chinese stuff.
The congenial hosts provided a refreshing welcome and assured us our comfort was paramount and also provided direct access through the garage due to inclement weather. The location near the village of Duck was perfect for our visit with friends, the restaurants and enjoying a small music festival. Thankfully, the hosts also provided a menu of on premise meal choices which we wish we had taken better advantage of after finally ordering and relishing their breakfast selection on the morning of our departure.
We LOVE Fontana Village! The pool is a huge hit as well as mini golf. The restaurants and general store provide all you need for a few days. A great place for a getaway weekend with young kids. This was our second time visiting in 3 years and the improvements they have made recently are great. Continues to be an incredible mountain gem that we hope to continue to visit yearly.
The location was center to the villages amenities. The room was comfortable. The staff was always helpful.
Having access to the river was super nice! We spent most of our day there since lake lure beach was so crowded! Chimney rock village is walking distance with lots of shops, restaurants, coffee, gem mine, mini golf, and the fair (not sure when it’s open). Right next door near Carter lodge is a little store that sells fresh subs and has snacks/drinks inside! We got an Italian and Reuben sandwich and they were really good. Overall we loved it there and will definitely be back!
Beautiful position, facilities and location. Wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was like staying in your your own holiday home. Upstairs and downstairs balcony/verandas with hot tub and sitting/dining areas. Every little thing was allowed for including washing detergent. Faultless!
