The villa was set in the grounds of the Sella & Mosca winery. According to the staff the winery was established in 1899 and was a little village in itself - our villa was a converted house for the vineyard workers and the restaurant was converted from a school. There was a little church next to our villa. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, and the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. It was very clean.. A buffet breakfast was served daily and we ate in the restaurant in the evenings. The 5 and 7 course tasting menus were popular with guests but we opted to eat an entree and main course with a bottle of wine. The wines were excellent and available for purchase in the wine shop. There was an opportunity to go on a wine tour. There was plenty of free parking in the vineyard. The staff were charming and very helpful.

La PosidoniaOceanic made my stay in Alghero so comfortable and the host Anna was wonderful! The location is excellent, easy to walk to the marina and the historic center. And very safe! Although there is no onsite parking lot, there are 2 locations right cross the street where I was able to park day and night for free. The "open kitchen" 24/7 is a nice gesture Anna offers to the guest, and she prepares the breakfast by herself. I would recommend this B&B to anyone going to Alghero!

The staff were very friendly, and very responsive. The room is finished to a high specification and has a Dyson hair dryer, which is great if you have long hair. I can't fault the room or the facilities and I would recommend to anyone.

We couldn't have chosen a better accommodation, to be honest. Cleanliness is very important for me and my girlfriend when we go somewhere and Villa Solymar exceeded our expectations. Also, the furniture is brand new and the location is at the very quiet neighbourhood. Lovely Daniela served us delicious breakfast every morning and recommended to us places for visit. Chatting with her and her warm energy will definitely be missed. Recommendatiton from the bottom of our heart - 10/10. :)

We enjoyed our stay very much in Hotel Villa Piras. The staff was friendly, still smiling that brought a good feeling and spoke English fluently. We don't speak Italian, but we'd tried a little and they really appreciated that.
The hotel is quite old-fashioned, but not in a bad way. I think it completes the atmosphere of Alghero. The hotel's near the city centre, like 10-15 mins walking.

The villa was fantastic, offering plenty of space and good equipment. After initial misunderstandings, all communication with the owner was excellent. The sea and the pool are just a five-minute walk from the villa.
I absolutely loved everything. Our host, Andrew, for the way he welcomed us and how he was always ready to help in any problem, the fantastic location and the house which, although it is not the modern type of house, has all the facilities you could wish for. It is authentic with personality and offers you that state of peace and relaxation that you are looking for on vacation. Not to mention the special view of the sunsets. Take note that you will need a car because the villa is quite far from the city.
