Ideally positioned between Alghero and Sassari, 20 minutes ride from both. Lovely Christmas decorations, spacious super clean room and bathroom with two sinks, comfortable bed. Free bikes you can ride to explore 4 km of paths, surrounded by vineyards. We were impressed how big it was. Beautiful facilities by day and night, beautiful lights, nicely designed breakfast room and winery - we opted for wine tour and degustation accompanied by local products that were fantastic. Smiling and professional staff and the surprise gift at the end of our stay (you can guess, it was a bottle of wine)!

We couldn't have chosen a better accommodation, to be honest. Cleanliness is very important for me and my girlfriend when we go somewhere and Villa Solymar exceeded our expectations. Also, the furniture is brand new and the location is at the very quiet neighbourhood. Lovely Daniela served us delicious breakfast every morning and recommended to us places for visit. Chatting with her and her warm energy will definitely be missed. Recommendatiton from the bottom of our heart - 10/10. :)

We enjoyed our stay very much in Hotel Villa Piras. The staff was friendly, still smiling that brought a good feeling and spoke English fluently. We don't speak Italian, but we'd tried a little and they really appreciated that.
The hotel is quite old-fashioned, but not in a bad way. I think it completes the atmosphere of Alghero. The hotel's near the city centre, like 10-15 mins walking.
The breakfast was delicious.
The villa was fantastic, offering plenty of space and good equipment. After initial misunderstandings, all communication with the owner was excellent. The sea and the pool are just a five-minute walk from the villa.
I absolutely loved everything. Our host, Andrew, for the way he welcomed us and how he was always ready to help in any problem, the fantastic location and the house which, although it is not the modern type of house, has all the facilities you could wish for. It is authentic with personality and offers you that state of peace and relaxation that you are looking for on vacation. Not to mention the special view of the sunsets. Take note that you will need a car because the villa is quite far from the city.
