My husband, adult son and myself stayed here in a one bed apartment for one night in September. We were walking the Portuguese Camino and getting the bus to Vigo the following day to start our walk. It suited our needs perfectly. There was a pullout bed in the living area which my son said was very comfortable.
The apartment was spotless and well equipped with cooking facilities . There was a good shower. There were some sweet treats there for us which were very nice. The host Pilar was lovely. Communication ( via what’s app was really good, very prompt) . It is only 10 minutes to the centre and also close to the train/ bus station 15 minute walk. I forgot my headphones and Pilar texted me but we were already on the bus so she kept them for me until we were back the following week .
I would absolutely recommend this apartment . We just had a very short time there and it wasn’t available when we were staying the following weekend.

On The Way about 1km from the cathedral. A pleasant area of town, almost village like (lovely little old church just above it). Very helpful staff. Comfortable beds and a great shower.
Location! Location! Location!! My husband and I walked the Camino Portuguese. The door to the Cathedral is just steps away! Also, if you are shipping camino related items to Casa Ivar, his store is a short walk as well. The hotel staff was awesome and able to provide recommendations for food, getting to the train station, providing breakfast... they are truly what make Rua Villar special.
It is a cozy hostel near Santiago (20 min bus), 5 min from the airport, small village. The room was great, super clean and with all that we needed. The host and staff were the nicest with us. We enjoyed a chat with them!
Very central location, great idea of coliving arrangements (available for short term and long term rent), very accommodating team (shoutout to Eva and Paula!) they even allowed to keep my luggage after I checked out while I’m doing some city tours.
Good property with lift in a reasonable location. Well equipped and clean. Supermarket and some good less touristy restaurants close by. Better for a short term stay rather than a longer one. Door codes very handy, no minding of physical keys. Beds good and decent kitchen.
Comfortable, clean room with bath 12K from Santiago on Camino. Both bars in village closed before dinner, so arrange for sandwiches and drinks before closing or have a vehicle. Provides for early start and arrival at Santiago.
Located in the small village of San Marcos which really has very few amenities but close enough to Santiago de Compostela that we could walk into the city to complete our Camino Frances and still have time to get our Compostelas and attend mass at the Cathedral. Hotel was quiet and comfortable.
