We were a bit caught off guard that the check in for the apartment was in a bar, and in an area of town that we didn’t initially like. But the host was very nice, and the apartment was immaculately clean. It was only about a 15 minute walk to old town, and we observed no problems with the area while we were there. It was a bit expensive for one night, but most things in the city are very pricey so we didn’t find it to be outrageous for the area.

This Hotel is a few km outside the city on the hillside, looking down to Luzern city and lakes. View is lovely, and you're in the country-side with lovely fields and farm-houses. We chose this instead of the city centre and were pleasantly surprised. If you like walking or are planning to got to the Pilatus mountain this is a great location (without a car you will need a taxi to go to city, to the Kriens village with the Pilatus cable car it's a walking distance. This Hotel is in the middle of nature.
We were well looked after by all the staff! The hotel is beautiful and has great charm. We had a room with a balcony which had a stunning view of the village and the church. The room was a great size and beds were extremely comfortable. All of the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast had great options. We were sad to leave this hotel and look forward to coming again.

Really comfortable and peaceful stay. Stunning views and walks on doorstep. Excellent transport links. The villa is an exclusive area - just out the tourist-filled Lucerne but close enough to get to places and do everything you want to (20 mins on the 21 bus). Francesco and Sylvia were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Thank you so much
Location was perfect in small village adjacent to bus stop, providing quick access to Lucerne. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well-appointed rooms with amenities including complementary coffee, water, mineral water and cookies. Excellent restaurant on site - exceptional breakfast and multi-course dinners. Quiet neighborhood, 10 min bus ride to Lucerne train station and city center. Less than one hour drive to Zurich airport.
