The trains going to London run EVERY 2 to 3 minutes - change or walk from Bank and you are in the centre of the city. So easy. Tap on & tap off for the journey; the automatic paying is ticketless and fast. The houseboat is in a quiet, gated (therefore, totally secure) houseboat 'village'. The quality of the fittings, bedding, kitchen, extras etc onboard are superb. There are shops for daily needs within a 10 minute walk in Limehouse, good restaurants on the Thames side and all along the lovely Thames path to Canary Wharf. Limehouse area itself isn't too smart, but there is far less hustle, bustle & traffic. Much more relaxing to be out of the city. I will recommend the GRA houseboat to all my friends. I am sure the other houseboats owned /managed by Patrick will be of the same high standard .

The location is gorgeous and quiet, the host is lovely and accommodating, the place is so beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is abundant and also very good, overall we had such a great time and would come again anytime.

The houseboat has been renovated incredibly well and has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. The facilities inside the boat were perfect so that you could really settle in as if it was home. Everything was super clean, the bed was perfect and the person who greeted us was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

Luxury boat - The Thistle Dream ligger i Uxbridge och erbjuder gratis WiFi och utsikt över floden, bara 16 minuters promenad från Brunel University. There are no words to describe how incredible Thistle Dream is, if you are in doubt whether to book, please do! The boat feels utterly luxurious and being on the water in such beautiful accommodation is simply magical. The boat suits sun and rain (we were lucky to experience a downpour during a beautiful sunny weekend) and I can imagine how very cosy it would be in the cold too with central heating and a heated mattress, along with snuggly blankets. We were truly gutted to leave and I'm already dreaming of returning and missing the ducks that live next door. The photos don't do it justice, all expectations exceeded.

The Boathouse in Paddington, Central London, is located on the Floating Pocket Park, and offers boutique boat accommodation with free WiFi. Spacious, modern, clean, fun! Staff there to welcome us and show us around the boat. A great selection of books. Really cozy vibe in the evening. We lovely sitting on the top for breakfast 😊 The bed is sooo comfy!
