The DLR tube is only 5 minutes' walk from the nearest Tube station, Limehouse, to the houseboat. The trains going to London run EVERY 2 to 3 minutes - change or walk from Bank and you are in the centre of the city. So easy. Tap on & tap off for the journey; the automatic paying is ticketless and fast. The houseboat is in a quiet, gated (therefore, totally secure) houseboat 'village'. The quality of the fittings, bedding, kitchen, extras etc onboard are superb. There are shops for daily needs within a 10 minute walk in Limehouse, good restaurants on the Thames side and all along the lovely Thames path to Canary Wharf. Limehouse area itself isn't too smart, but there is far less hustle, bustle & traffic. Much more relaxing to be out of the city. I will recommend the GRA houseboat to all my friends. I am sure the other houseboats owned /managed by Patrick will be of the same high standard .

Lovely cosy, central, lovely touch with bread, honey, jam and eggs. Log burner was a blessing in December. Sam was in touch and easy to get hold of for any questions and queries. My Husband & I have just returned home from a relaxing weekend at Tulana Lodge on Taggs Island, We can’t recommend this place & its host enough. It’s definitely a 5 star experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we arrived to the tranquil feel of island, away from the hustle & bustle of London, Tulana Lodge is beautiful inside & out and has been decorated to a high standard with EVERYTHING you need. Linda the amazing host had freshly baked bread & muffins a bottle of bubbly in the fridge & to many treats to mention. she had even spritzed the bed with lavender spray. The bathroom had every product available. We paid extra for 2 nights hot tub and a massage which are both well worth the money. It’s a Spa hotel experience with the comfort and privacy of a lodge. A win win for us.. Book now you won’t be disappointed!!

Great boat, everything was a s expected, instructions were super clear and it was in such a nice location! Would recommend. The bed was super warm and we stayed in winter. Love that is was an eco-friendlier stay.
