Fantastic stay! Loved the boat house! The house was great and the views were incredible. Would definitely recommend.
Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
Breakfast was excellent, fresh and plenty of choices. The owner speaks english very well and is very helpful.The Hotel is in the Center of the Old town were all the attractions are. Minutes away to the boat rides on the Moselle river and a 20 minute walk up the mountain to the old fortress, where you have a fantastic view .
Absolutely gorgeous. Well-appointed. Hostess was so hospitable. Would stay again!
Note for folks without a car: this property is in Wehlen, a town outside of Bernkastel. It’s a bit tough to get to from the train (Wittlich). The property was wonderful but you should know it’s a little tough to get around. The hosts were VERY helpful in getting us around. There is a bus but we took the boat into the town - very easy and beautiful.
