The property is non-smoking and is located 35 km from Electoral Palace, Koblenz. This was a little gem! Very spacious and clean. Richard was a excellent host. The location was perfect. It was only 5 minutes walk to the main town square, with cafes, bars and restaurants. But very quiet because just far enough away to avoid traffic and pedestrian noise. Warm enough to be able to sit outside on the back verandah of the houseboat and admire the view of the castle. We also ate at Richard's bar/restaurant a few nights where we were warmly welcomed by other restaurant "regulars", who had good English, which was handy because our German is non-existent! The bathroom is pretty small, but I think you should expect that on a houseboat. St Goar, is tiny, but quiet lovely, and an excellent base to explore the middle Rhine. We used trains, which run once per hour. All the river boats stop here too.

The room was comfortable and very well appointed. The view from the room of the Mosel and vineyards was great. Nice to watch the boats going along the river. The quality of the food and service was very high. The breakfast was exceptional. Herr Kriebs is an excellent host. This was our second stay here and we are already looking forward to visiting again. A good bus service operates in the area with the nearest bus stop only 80 metres from the hotel.
The room was large and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. The view was amazing. There is a little boat in front of the hotel that brings you to the centre in 10 min. We hired bikes from the hotel and cycled to the major places of interest.
We arrived in a room with four bunk beds, to me it gave the feeling of travelling with a boat on the Rhine. It was perfect for our trip with the "boys" (father and two sons). The breakfast was good, they even had "Dinkelbrötchen". The location of the hotel is a brief walk from the city center.

Super quiet location above the Rhine River Valley. Very nice room with all the amenities one needs. Beds were comfortable and the service was excellent. The Breakfast was great with a large variety of fresh and delicious items. The restaurant offered dinners that were excellent and at very reasonable prices. Outdoor dining was also available in a garden like area. A free shuttle service was offered for boat tours on the Rhine River! Uli and her Daughter made the stay fantastic!
The view was spectacular! The room lovely. Buffet plentiful! The location was exactly what we wanted. Easy walk from the train station to the hotel. The outdoor restaurant provided great ambiance! Easy access to the touring boats literally right outside your door.

Wonderful hotel next to the river. There is a boat close by that takes you to the city center. The rooms are spacious and nice. Breakfast was good. Staff was very nice. And there is a free parking on the site.
