HAPPY GUEST HOUSE ตั้งอยู่ในไฮฟอง ห่างจากไฮฟองโอเปร่าเฮาส์ ไม่เกิน 1.4 กม. Excellent facilities. Very clean. Good location for eating. People running the hostel are super nice. Daughter speaks English and mother a wonderful lady. Is in alley of main road and quiet. May be a bit difficult to locate at first. Big backpacker plus is it has an elevator.

The owners were so friendly and helpful our whole stay, always available to answer questions and help rent motorbikes. They even scootered to the downtown area when I ran out of gas on my bike to get me back on the road again! Room was spacious and bed was a little firm but still comfortable. Shower had really strong water pressure, I found that it was better to use less than max pressure to make sure I had enough hot water. Location was great, quiet since it's away from town but a short 5 minute scooter ride into town. Beautiful views of the lake right outside. Also even though it's a little out of the main area, the transfer services I used knew where the hotel was and could do pickup/dropoff on the main road 100m from the hotel. Breakfast was different every day and so good, cooked fresh by the owners. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

The front desk is more than helpful. What I appreciated the most was when he saw me feeling down. He called me up and gave a local Vietnamese fruit to cheer me up. It was really heartwarming. My initial stay was supposed to be 2 days but I ended up booking for a month. This property is the best for a budget business stay.

HT Homestay CAT BA ตั้งอยู่ในกั๊ตบา ห่างจากหาด Tung Thu Beach 1.8 กม. และห่างจากหาด Cat Co 2 Beach 2.5 กม. This homestay has a good rating for a reason! It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and organised. It is also fantastic value, with breakfast added in. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful, even generously inviting us to their dinner table. The homestay is situated in a quiet local neighbourhood lending an air of authentic Vietnam flavour. This also meant that town is a one or two km walk away - no problem and always good to wander the streets of a new town. And of course public transport is available if that is your preference.

Cat Ba Mountain View Homestay is set in Cat Ba in the Hai Phong Municipality Region. Guests can go for a dip in the outdoor swimming pool on mountain top while enjoying sweeping mountain views. The staff here are amazing and friendly! The room and location are very nice, I really enjoyed staying here.
