Gem is such a wonderful host. She did so much to help me, no other hostel so far has been so helpful, even after I checked out, she was still assisting me with my itinerary via WhatsApp. The rooms are very modern, beds are comfy with nice curtains and power outlets. I absolutely recommend this hostel!

My initial stay was supposed to be 2 days but I ended up booking for a month. This property is the best for a budget business stay.

This was the best place i could stay at while visiting hai phong. Very close to all points of interest and even has a small lake right across the street. The owners of the place are some of the nicest people i've ever met. They were so kind and so helpful. And Even though its located on the main street, the room is very quiet and very comfortable.

The owners were so friendly and helpful our whole stay, always available to answer questions and help rent motorbikes. They even scootered to the downtown area when I ran out of gas on my bike to get me back on the road again! Room was spacious and bed was a little firm but still comfortable. Shower had really strong water pressure, I found that it was better to use less than max pressure to make sure I had enough hot water. Location was great, quiet since it's away from town but a short 5 minute scooter ride into town. Beautiful views of the lake right outside. Also even though it's a little out of the main area, the transfer services I used knew where the hotel was and could do pickup/dropoff on the main road 100m from the hotel. Breakfast was different every day and so good, cooked fresh by the owners. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

HT Homestay CAT BA, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Cat Ba, 2.5 km from Cat Co 2 Beach, 2.8 km from Cat Co 1 Beach, as well as 2.2 km from Ben Beo Harbour. Everything was nice. The place is clean, big and comfortable. The breakfast is ok. There is a fridge in the room and hot water 😁 The only thing missing in our opinion was drinkable water (but it doesn't look like it's included in Vietnam).
