Hoàng Su Phì - Móng Ngựa Homestay is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Ha Giang, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. We had an amazing time with Quan and his family. The road to get there is a bit bumpy but they organize everything and it was way easier than to come on a bike ! Also we recommend coming during the day for the same reasons. You may want to download a translator if you want to be able to enjoy long talks with the family. Everyone was wonderful and Mua (Quan’s wife and Phi, his niece, took a long walk with us through the beautiful scenery) and the next day Quan took us to the market and we walked back to his sister’s house for a great lunch and at night we ate a fabulous diner and played card games and drunk a lot of rice wine. An incredible experience all around learning about the red Dao culture and being fully immersed in an incredibly breathtaking landscape and a very nice family :) truly a high point of our trip ! The rooms are very clean and bug-free and the view from the balcony is crazy !
