Everything was amazing, but the best part was probably how welcoming the host was - he even lended us some money to go have dinner nearby since it was late and we had no cash. We later found out he was from Spain, and used to be a easy rider - really cool!

Located in Làng Cac, Muong Tra Stream Homestay provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. How lucky were we to stay Muong Tra Stream Homestay. It's not often I get to say that but WOW WOW WOW. We arrived at 1pm, so much too early for check in and nobody was there. I sent a What's App message and the owner was there in a couple of minutes. He then took our bags up to our room with a smile and left us to settle in. The room was gorgeous, small but cute with a super view over the fields and mountain. Really comfy bed, super Aircon and THE best shower so far, strong and hot. It's a very relaxed setup where you choose your own drinks from the fridge and mark it on the chalk board. The owner asked us if we would like dinner, we said yes, he told us 7:30pm and took care of the rest... a banquet. So much yummy food, some of the best we have had in Vietnam. Our wonderful host has thought of everything and delivers with a smile.

Le Hoàng Su Phì - Móng Ngựa Homestay est un Bed & Breakfast récemment rénové situé à Ha Giang, où vous pourrez profiter de son jardin et de son bar. We had an amazing time with Quan and his family. The road to get there is a bit bumpy but they organize everything and it was way easier than to come on a bike ! Also we recommend coming during the day for the same reasons. You may want to download a translator if you want to be able to enjoy long talks with the family. Everyone was wonderful and Mua (Quan’s wife and Phi, his niece, took a long walk with us through the beautiful scenery) and the next day Quan took us to the market and we walked back to his sister’s house for a great lunch and at night we ate a fabulous diner and played card games and drunk a lot of rice wine. An incredible experience all around learning about the red Dao culture and being fully immersed in an incredibly breathtaking landscape and a very nice family :) truly a high point of our trip ! The rooms are very clean and bug-free and the view from the balcony is crazy !
