When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Subsequently, she suggested places to visit or eat, and remained available for our questions. plus there was always freshly prepared food on the table. it was very warm. in addition to the smell of the hotel which was very pleasant. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!

The staff were so kind and helpful. Always happy to have a chat and always smiling. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are a generous size. The free breakfast is also a nice little bonus. Situated within less than 1 km of Agamont Park and a 2-minute walk of The Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor, Thornhedge Inn features accommodation with seating area. Location is wonderful. Host was very friendly and helpful. Told me about the bus which was much better than trying to park. So much to do around there, hiking shopping, boating etc. Breakfasts were terrific! Adequate parking which is really important in Bar Harbor.
