Situated within 700 metres of Town Beach and 700 metres of Agamont Park, Black Friar Inn and Pub features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bar Harbor. This place has an outstanding energy! The rooms are cozy and with god size. We stayed at one that has a roof window and we could se the moon during the night. The fact that the Inn has a Pub is so great! Breakfast has many options, everything is delicious and the hostess are really funny.

Each bedroom has a stunning bathroom and a big walk-in closet and a lovely balcony to enjoy the morning sun with a cup of tea. The beds are gigantic with super soft bedding, they are pure luxury! The hosts, Martha and Tim, are so welcoming, friendly and helpful with local knowledge of walks and places to eat. The breakfast is incredible, all home cooked and super tasty. We never wanted to leave.

Great location (you can walk to all the shops & restaurants), clean comfortable and cozy. Staff were very lovely and the breakfast was off the scale delicious. Easy parking outside terrific WiFi, nice touch of afternoon tea and sweets whenever you fancied them too. We only booked one night, but extended our stay.

Breakfast was out of sight. Matt and Kristi were super host , always asking what they could do to make things better.
