An absolutely fantastic stay here. Great location, quiet, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast provided by Daphne. I believe there are 5 rooms in total so it's not a hotel, more like a relaxed bed and breakfast. We had access to the jacuzzi and sauna on the top floor and that was a great bonus. If you'd like to avoid the chaos of the French Quarter but still be in walking distance this is perfect. Thank you Daphne!

We stayed in one of the units on the top floor that had views both out the front and the back of the property, overlooking the lake to the plantation house. It made for a very spectacular stay, where we could sit on rocking chairs on the veranda, light the citronella candles provided and enjoy the tranquility (until the frogs started their chorus in the evening !!!!). Excellent size of rooms, very clean, and good breakfast in the morning. Snacks and water available anytime in the morning and fridge, freezer and bags of ice readily available. A very pleasant stay, which included a guided tour of the plantation house. Although rebuilt since a fire in the 1960’s it is still spectacular and the tour was incredibly interesting.

It was a very comfortable room. The restaurant and bar at the house were both really good. With our stay we also got a free daytime tour and a breakfast voucher for the next morning. The tour was very good and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed seeing the rest of St. Francisville also.

A classic New Orlean style house filled with all the 'special' vibes of this wonderful city. It's extremely clean and much bigger than any other accommodation at such a price. The most important thing... you feel that they respect you as a customer and as a human being. Also, it's close to the downtown and the historic French Quarter - about 20 minutes walking distance (I never used a streetcar but there are two different choices if you like). A HUGE PLUS - Melissa. She's such a great person and ready to help you with anything. Also a great singer 😉

The couple who run the b&b are very welcoming and friendly and always willing to help. There’s a nice outside seating area and plenty of cosy places to hang out in the property. Peter gave us lots of great tips about what to do in New Orleans, which really meant we got the most out of our time there.
