She made us a warm breakfast early in the morning for no extra charge. The place is beautiful, clean, luminous and comfy. She made us feel at home. She is a charm. Soooo recommended!

Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. Very nice room with a very delicate breakfast. Perfect hosts; did not intrude, were very pleasant to communicate with and suggested social activity.

Located in Keaau, 20 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Ocean Breeze Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. We had a lovely welcome from Andy and the directions we were given were perfect . The apartment was spacious , very well equipped and spotlessly clean . The sound of the waves from the nearby seashore was amazing .The location was perfect for visiting the volcano national park and we recommend joining a trip to the summit of Mauna Kea . We would highly recommend choosing to stay here and do go and look at the beautiful sunrise at the point about 2 minutes walk away .

Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and water sports facilities, Ma'ukele Lodge can be found in Pahoa, close to Kaimu Beach and 21 km from Lava Tree State Monument. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. The room is rustic, but a great way to experience Island life. This was an unexpectedly wonderful jewel. Breakfasts were fabulous.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Coffee Garden is set in Captain Cook, 6.9 km from Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and 7.4 km from Kealakekua Bay. We had an amazing time staying at Coffee Garden BnB after a few busy traveling days. It is very quiet and family ran. The hosts are very friendly and warm-hearted. We had an opportunity to relax here and learned more about local living. If you get lucky, you may get up early and help auntie in the garden to pick some fresh fruits. Tastes so good. 😋 This place is close to Kona but less busy. It is also near the famous captain cook monument. We chose to hike down and snorkel there. That's one of the best snorkel places I've snorkelled. I'd highly recommend this BnB to anyone who likes nature and enjoys cottage feel like living. We would come back again.

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. Mahana House exceeded any expectations we had. Not only were we welcomed by many friendly felines but the property and room were phenomenal. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and anything we needed was fully provided. The property was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. We were able to leave everything unlocked when we left for our adventures for the day without feeling like anything would happen to our stuff. Coqui frogs were very vocal but such an amazing sound to go to sleep to at night. Will always stay here when headed back to the Hilo side of the Big Island again

The place is amazing, super peaceful, ideal to get some rest! The house is super cute and sitting at the lanai is a complete plus. Lorrie's breakfast was amazing, made with so much love :)
