Everything. This place is without any competition the best accommodation I had since I started my round-trip in Taiwan, since almost one month ago. It's meticulously clean, the bed is very comfortable (did I wrote very comfortable ?) and the deco of the room is very tasteful, giving a feeling of being home. Set in Taichung, 3.6 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store and 4.7 km from Taichung Railway Station, LAR Suite offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The apartments were spacious and fit us (3 people) perfectly. They provide you with towels and some toiletries (you have to choose which at check in). It was a quiet area but you can easily get to bars and restaurants nearby (we took Ubers). Free laundry room.

NingCui Business Hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Taichung, and offers a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Great location with spacious rooms and modern facilities. The manager was very friendly, provided great recommendations and was very accommodating with our requests.

Set in Taichung and within 2 km of Fengjia Night Market, 想想旅居 Allegro Hostel has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley way very close to the MTR and other public transportion options. It is no frills but offers a decent bed, private bathroon, good wifi, and even the ability to do laundry (they provide detergent but I think you have to hang dry, which I did not have time for but I think it pretty typical for Taiwan) Taichung Central Park is nearby and EXCELLENT if you are a runner.

Ideally situated in the centre of Taichung, Green Hotel - Midori features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Highly recommended! I will definitely book this hotel again in the future. 5 mins walk from Taichung Main Station. 5 mins walk from 7-11 and Family Mart. 5 mins walk from nearest Fastfood (KFC etc) Bus station in front of the building. Several food stalls/asian restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious, modern in design/pleasant looking and most importantly clean. Water closet is modern/automatic. Shower is modern, water pressure is strong. All sockets are international, no need for adapter. Great value for money!

Ideally set in the centre of Taichung, Hotel Huru House offers à la carte breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. The location was perfect. Room and lobby were very clean. A very comfortable place to stay.

Very close to the train station not the high speed one though but the bus stop for it is very close, staff were friendly clean facilities
