Located just 200 metres from Sairee Beach, Samatha Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation in Koh Tao with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a housekeeping service. The place looks nice and feels cozy, the room is big and has all the necessary things. The staff spoke pretty good English and were helpful. The guest house is located close to the main road and the central area, but in a quiet part, so there was not much noise, and yet, it was a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The nearby beach is quite useless, if you want to swim, though. Renting a motorbike is a good idea on Koh Tao.

Set within 600 metres of Sai Nuan Beach and 1.3 km of Jansom Bay Beach in Koh Tao, Tao Thong Villa 1 offers accommodation with seating area. This is the secret spot of Koh Tao for nature lovers. There is a magnificent sunset viewing spot, two quiet bays to swim and snorkel in with lots of fish (amazing at dawn and dusk), coastal walks and trails, kayaking… most visitors are zooming around the island to find places like this and you’re right here and nobody else seems to find it! The bungalow we stayed in was well maintained, with excellent sheets, a really nice mosquito net and quiet fan. The bathroom is simple and clean. I really liked the well built windows with mosquito netting, so it was always possible to have good air circulation and not even use the mosquito net over the bed. The balcony overlooks the sea, and each bungalow is spaced far enough for privacy. The restaurant serves a wide range of dishes, mainly Thai with some western (which we didn’t try), and we ate there at least once a day for weeks because the cuisine was tasty and healthy feeling. They make great shakes and grind their own coconut milk fresh every other day for the curries. The staff are discreet and provide accurate service for all transport (taxi, motorbike rental) and living needs, including laundry. If you’re staying more than a few days, they warm up a lot. Renting the motorbike from the property is a good idea… they are honest have fair prices and have good bikes, unlike some of the scam places up in Sairee Beach that try to make money off of fictitious scratches. You can also rent snorkel gear and kayak. Lastly they really work hard to maintain the property. I see them cleaning the beach and walkways of leaves and debris every single morning. I felt like I had found a peaceful corner of paradise, and at a very fair price overall.

Situated in Koh Tao and only 500 metres from Mae Haad Beach, Field-D House features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. One of the best hotel stays we had in Thailand, if not the best. It felt like home, you had everything you needed. Bett was comfy, kitchen was equipped with the main basics & overall great cleanliness. Breakfast and staff were also so amazing. Location is Perfect, everything walkable and if you want you can rent a scooter at the property for a great price

Offering sea views and a garden, Tao Thong Villa 2 offers accommodation situated conveniently in Koh Tao, within a short distance of Sai Nuan Beach, Jansom Bay Beach and Chalok Baan Kao Beach. Incredible, secluded, stunning location - you'll feel like you have your own stretch of beach & jungle. More of a family homestay vibe than a resort - but they'll take care of you. This part of the island is a little out of the way, so be prepared to scooter around (they rent on site). Unbelievable value.

Located only a 5-minute walk from Mae Haad Bay, Infinity Guesthouse offers a comfortable and affordable accommodation with free luggage storage services. Free WiFi is available in public areas. It was in the PERFECT location near all the restaurants and cafes. And I stayed at 50 hotels and this has the comfortiest bed!!
