In the outskirts of the city, middle in the forest, Internet connection from heaven. Super nice host Couple. The livingroom looks like something from a luxury villa. Easy take rself breakfast and delicious, Just a really excellent place and very good hosts. I totally recommend. The livingroom also had the biggest mirror I have ever seen, Just WOW. They only rent out two rooms making this a very intimate visit.

Soltägtgården provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 21 km of Dalhalla Amphitheatre and 49 km of Vasaloppet Museum. The room was very comfortable, cosy and beautifully decorated, with amazing views of lake Siljan. We enjoyed the sauna and the relax room a lot. Francisco and his wife are wonderful hosts.

Featuring an open-air bath and views of garden, Wikgården B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Gagnef, 48 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre. Gagnef is centrally located in a small picturesque village. It is not far to places like Leksand, Rattvik (great Hemslojd store with a "museum" of older folk dresses upstairs), Nusnas, Mora (Anders and Emma Zorn home), Falun (Carl and Karin Larsson home), and the like. It is very nice to walk over to the Gagnef church and the floating bridge. The staff was wonderful and helpful! We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Lovely restored old railway station and right in the middle of Orsa. Clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Nice breakfast. Superfriendly and personal service from owner Michael. Located in Särnaheden in the Dalarna region, Knappgården is peacefully located amongst nature and ski areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. - Hosts: Annika and Kjelle were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Annika provided excellent advice and suggestions for local adventures with detailed maps, guides, and binoculars (we even saw an abandoned bear den!). - Cuisine: Chef Kjelle's cuisine was AMAZING, made from locally grown and organic ingredients. Every meal was absolutely delicious (we ate breakfasts and dinners), and special care was taken to accommodate my vegetarian diet, which I greatly appreciated. - Location: The property is ideally situated near Fulufjället National Park and other natural sites such as Nipfjället, Yxningåfallen Falls, and Tjärnvallen Falls. We enjoyed exploring these stunning natural areas and were lucky to see an elk and a few reindeer. - Amenities: The bungalow we stayed in was perfectly clean and very comfortable (comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, very spacious etc). - Communication: Clear and efficient communication via the booking.com app. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature with wonderful hosts and delicious food.
