The owner, Nely, was sweet and lovely, and the facilities were great. Unfortunately I don't speak Romanian, so we weren't able to converse, but we still managed to communicate with smiles, nods, gestures and Google Translate. The room was clean & comfortable, and I had access to my own bathroom, shared kitchen, and off-road parking which was great to park my motorbike. The location is spot-on for access to Transalpina 👌

I visited Conacul Olarilor for a short city break at the beginning of November. It exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent and you have places to visit in/around Baia de Fier. The interior design is fabulous! The temperature in the room was fine by me and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely return to the location and to the area!

Nos hemos sentido como en casa, cada apartamento cuenta con muchos detalles que hacen la estancia muy agradable, tanto para una noche que estás de paso como para una larga estancia que fue nuestro caso. Lau y su esposa han sido súper atentos a que no nos falte nada. Alojamiento con aire acondicionado, parking interior, súper limpio todo, cocina, nevera y lavadora y cafetera en cada apartamento. Camas cómodas y TV en cada habitación. Te sorprenderán los detalles que encontrarás. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.
