The owner, Nely, was sweet and lovely, and the facilities were great. Unfortunately I don't speak Romanian, so we weren't able to converse, but we still managed to communicate with smiles, nods, gestures and Google Translate. The room was clean & comfortable, and I had access to my own bathroom, shared kitchen, and off-road parking which was great to park my motorbike. The location is spot-on for access to Transalpina 👌

Boasting garden views, Conacul Olarilor provides accommodation with balcony, around 28 km from Ranca Ski Resort. I visited Conacul Olarilor for a short city break at the beginning of November. It exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent and you have places to visit in/around Baia de Fier. The interior design is fabulous! The temperature in the room was fine by me and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely return to the location and to the area!
